Then think of the Day We shall summon every community with its leader. Those who are given their Record in their right hand shall read the Record of their deeds and shall not be wronged a whit. 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little. 74 Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper. 75 And Verily, they were about to frighten you so much as to drive you out from the land. But in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after you, except for a little while. 76 The tradition of the Noble Messengers We sent before you – and you will not find Our rules changing. 77
