And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 When they reached the junction of the two seas they found out that they had forgotten all about the fish (which they had carried for food). The fish found its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
