Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
