In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not revealed unto thee (Muhammad) this Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 the All Merciful settled on the throne. 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: it is my staff; I lean there on; and therewith beat down fodder for my sheep; and for me therein are other purposes. 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 "Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)." 24

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
