Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease for me my task 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 We had already shown you favor 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon]. In all this, behold, there are messages indeed for those who are endowed with reason: 54
