Say: 'Who will guard you, by night and by day from the Merciful' But no, they turn away from their Lord's remembrance. 42 Or do they have lords of their own besides Us who can defend them? But they are not able to help themselves, nor can they find protection against Us. 43 Nay, but Ourselves gave these and their fathers enjoyment of days, until their life had lasted long while upon them. What, do they not see how We come to the land, diminishing it in its extremities? Or are they the victors? 44 Tell them: "I only warn you by the Revelation." But the deaf do not hear the cry when they are warned. 45 And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust. 46 And We shall set up the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection – therefore no soul will be wronged in the least; and if a thing is equal to a grain of mustard seed, We will bring it; and We are Sufficient to (take) account. 47 And We verily gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion (of right and wrong) and a light and a Reminder for those who keep from evil, 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down.
