[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But they (who claim to follow you) have torn their unity wide asunder, piece by piece, each group delighting in [but] what they themselves possess [by way of tenets]. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they think that We are helping them by giving them children and property? 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
