[Prophet], do you not see that all those who are in the heavens and on earth praise God, as do the birds with wings outstretched? Each knows his own mode of prayer and glorification: God has full knowledge of all that they do. 41 For God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and the returning is to God. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight. 43 Allah alternates the night and the day. Indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision. 44 Allah hath created every moving creature of water; of them is one that walketh upon his belly; and of them is one that walketh upon its two feet; and of them is one that walketh upon four. Allah createth whatsoever He listeth; verily Allah is over everything Potent. 45 We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away. Such are not believers. 47 When they are summoned to Allah and His messenger, in order that He may judge between them, behold some of them decline (to come). 48 And if right had been theirs, they would have come to him readily. 49 Is there a malady in their hearts, or they are deluded, or afraid that God and His Prophet would be unjust in dealing with them? Not so; they are themselves unjust. 50
