When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 [Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray. 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel." 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33
