۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
