The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in towering columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
