The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
