۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
