The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
