The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land; 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 And you are naught but a mortal like ourselves, and we know you to be certainly of the liars. 186 Then make fragments of the heaven fall upon us, if thou art of the truthful. 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
