The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; 1 A guide (to the Right Path); and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)]. 2 who perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 3 As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro 4 Those are they for whom shall be an evil torment. And in the Hereafter they shall be the greatest losers. 5 Thou receivest the Koran from One All-wise, All-knowing. 6 When Moses said to his people 'I observe a fire, and will bring you news of it, or I will bring you a flaming brand, that haply you shall warm yourselves.' 7 But when he came close to it, a call was sounded: "Blessed are all who are within [reach of] this fire, and all who are near it! And limitless in His glory is God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!" 8 O Moses! Lo! it is I, Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 9 “And put down your staff”; so when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned moving away without looking back; We said, “O Moosa, do not fear; indeed the Noble Messengers do not fear in My presence.” 10 except he who has done evil, then, after evil, has changed into good. I am the Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 But when Our light-giving messages came unto them, they said, "This is clearly [but] spellbinding deception!" 13 They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! 14
