Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 And We made of them Imams to guide by Our command when they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications. 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Hath this not guided them: how many generations We have destroyed before them amidst whose dwellings they walk? Verily therein are signs; will they not therefore hearken? 26 Observe they not that We drive water unto a land bare, and bring forth therewith crops whereof their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not therefore be enlightened? 27 They also ask: 'When will this Opening come, if what you say is true' 28 Say: 'On the Day of Opening the faith of the unbelievers will not benefit them, nor shall they be respited' 29 So turn thou away from them, and wait; they too are waiting. 30
