Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
