Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
