Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 on a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
