The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
