1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were transgressing people (disobedient, polytheists, and disbelievers). 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?” 54 and then he looks and sees that [companion of his] in the midst of the blazing fire, 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 What then, shall we not die 58 except our first death, and shall we not be punished' 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74
