Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
