And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
