And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
