Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
