Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
