In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who scatter (dust) by dispersing, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 and the partitioners, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 Most surely you are at variance with each other in what you say, 8 He is made to turn away from it who is (himself) averse. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day when they are tormented at the Fire. 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
