Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 surely you speak at variance, 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
