Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 It will be the Day when they are tormented at the Fire. 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 There is also evidence of the Truth within your own selves. Will you then not see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
