Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
