Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
