All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty and splendour, will endure. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time. 29 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 30 O you twain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 34 Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped. 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie: 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 45
