▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
