By the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 A warning to mankind, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
