Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 preferring the present life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
