The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
