He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 To him you attend; 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 (Set down) by scribes 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 [Does man ever consider] out of what substance [God] creates him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 No indeed! Man has not accomplished His bidding. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 olives, dates, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 and be cheerful and joyous. 39 And some faces will on that Day with dust be covered, 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
