He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 when the blind man approached him, 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 and in awe [of God] 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 (Contained) in honoured pages, 13 lofty and pure, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 Noble and pious. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Of a drop of seed. He created him and formed him according to a measure. 19 Then eased the way for him. 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 No indeed! Man has not accomplished His bidding. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and date palms, 29 And enclosed gardens luxuriant. 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 on a Day when everyone will [want to] flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day, to every one of them will his own state be of sufficient concern. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 with darkness overspread: 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
