He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 you attended to him, 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 On honourable pages. 13 Exalted (in dignity), purified, 14 (Set down) by scribes 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 From a (sperm) drop He created him and then determined him, 19 Then the way He made easy. 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 How We pour water in showers 25 and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder; 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and palms 29 And garden-closes of thick foliage 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 on a Day when everyone will [want to] flee from his brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 with darkness overspread: 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
