The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun is overthrown, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel – peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
