The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 where then are you going? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
