Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 where then are you going? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
