Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
