The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
