The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
