Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 to those who make display 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
