Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication. 45 Then We withdraw it to Us a gradual concealed withdrawal. 46 It is He who has made the night as a covering for you, sleep as a rest for you, and the day for you to rise again. 47 And it is He who sendeth forth the winds as a herald before His mercy and We send down from the heaven water pure. 48 so, that with it We revive dead lands and provide drink for the cattle and the human We created. 49 And We set it forth among them, that they may be admonished, but most men begrudge aught save infidelity. 50 And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner. 51 So do not listen to the disbelievers and, with this Qur’an, fight a great war against them. 52 ۞ And He it is Who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them. 53 And it is He who created of water a mortal, and made him kindred of blood and marriage; thy Lord is All-powerful. 54 But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]. 55 We have sent you for no other reason but to be a bearer of glad news and warning. 56 Say: I do not ask you aught in return except that he who will, may take the way to his Lord. 57 And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants, 58 In six days He created the earth and the heavens and all that is between them; then He established Himself on the "Throne" (of the Kingdom of the uriverse). (He is) the Merciful: as to His Glory, ask the one who knows. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
