Hizb 28
< random >
۞ And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me." 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 Every bounty that you enjoy is from Allah; and whenever any misfortune strikes you, it is to Him that you cry for the removal of your distress. 53 yet no sooner does He relieve your distress than some among you set up other partners besides their Lord, 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 They assign daughters to God, glory be to Him!, but for themselves [sons] that they desire to have. 57 When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
