But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
